Photographer Toyin Ibidapo will be having her first exhibition this coming February...

There’s no such thing as perfect, but there’s perfection in the things we love.

"Now that I’ve looked back, looking through all these photographs, I recall each moment very vibrantly and vividly.  It’s strange to remember the shoots and to evoke the feelings.

Sometimes the light dictated the moods. I recollect the moments when I tried too hard to achieve an image in my head, that it wouldn’t translate till I stopped trying to force it.

I remember the quiet ones, the boys who left an imprint, the ones who were creative artists in their own right.  The ones with sadness so deeply buried, it couldn’t help but reveal on film.

These are my memories of youth."
